BG Group Plc have awarded a major contract to i-Quantum Solutions to develop an integrated enterprise class
LNG Vessel Fleet Management System (FMS) for all their worldwide Oil, LNG and LPG transportation business. The project design phase
will commence in 2014 and the development should be complete by the end of 2015.
The ASP.NET C# solution has been commissioned to provide real-time global positioning of the vessel fleet, together with all the
associated operational activities associated with cargo management and transfer.
The system will be based on existing i-Quantum Solutions software solutions, custom development and leveraging our exisitng
management system framework. The Fleet Management System incorporates some of the following features:
- Google Maps API integration for vessel positioning display and object-oriented data visibility.
- NOAA weather map overlays for revoloving storms, wind direction and speed, temperature, sea states and currents.
- Performance dashboard.
- Voyage planning and management, including maintenance and dry-docking management.
- Fuel and heel calculations for vessels for energy and costs.
- Cost management.
- Chartering and bunkering management modules.
- Document management with integration to Microsoft SharePoint
- Vessel technical details integration with OCIMF.
- Microsoft Exchange intergation through Exchange Web Services for automated inbound email processing, including noon report data extraction.
Several integrations will be developed for systems such as, Endur, GAC and LQM Bunkering.
