Working in the North East of Scotland, Trudi made the step change from contract management into supply chain, when a major international operator
afforded her the opportunity to manage their supply chain and drive efficiencies throughout the outsourced support to their operation.
The success of this exercise led Trudi into a global supply chain management role, developing and deploying supply chain solutions to multiple clients
in a variety of locations and industries across the world.
With experience of worldwide travel, in economy class, together with the reluctant realization that refineries, chemical & manufacturing plants are typically
not located in beach resorts, Trudi came to the conclusion that a more effective deployment of her solutions were necessary. This brought about a step change
from the paper bound world of contracting to the paperless world of web-enabled technology. Whilst travel is still on the agenda, Trudi’s work day now has
more focus of ensuring the effective identification, development and deployment of supply chain Solutions, than burning dollars on airmiles.
